JOB OPENING: Quality Manager | Centennial, Colorado

MSI TEC is hiring a Quality Manager in our Centennial, CO office. This position leads MSI TEC's quality management system and quality assurance processes by overseeing ISO 9001:2015 compliance, management review activities, internal and external audits, non-conformance and corrective action processes, quality training, customer compliance documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. The Opportunity

The Quality Manager plays a key role in maintaining MSI TEC’s reputation for precision, reliability, and customer confidence. This position leads MSI TEC’s quality management system and quality assurance processes by overseeing ISO 9001:2015 compliance, management review activities, internal and external audits, non-conformance and corrective action processes, quality training, customer compliance documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable partnering cross-functionally with operations, customer service, HR, facilities, and leadership to ensure product, process, and system quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain MSI TEC’s quality management system, including quality procedures, documented information, records, and continuous improvement activities aligned with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate weekly quality team meetings and quarterly Management Review Meetings, including preparation of metrics, scorecards, trends, action items, and follow-up documentation.
  • Manage internal audit planning and support customer and external audits, including preparation, hosting, response coordination, and closure of findings.
  • Oversee document control and quality document approval workflows, including review of controlled documents routed through Teams and related systems.
  • Assign, monitor, and support completion of required quality and training modules, and deliver new hire and refresher training on ISO, quality standards, and related procedures.
  • Manage non-conformance, CAPA/8D, and return material authorization processes, ensuring timely investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action, verification, and closure.
  • Complete and coordinate quality documentation such as PPAPs, PFMEAs, surveys, questionnaires, customer scorecards, and first article-related support as needed.
  • Review customer purchase order terms and conditions, DPAS requirements, and customer-specific quality requirements, identifying concerns and required operational flow-downs.
  • Support product and material compliance activities, including RoHS, REACH, Certificates of Conformance, Statements of Responsibility, and other shipment-related quality certifications.
  • Oversee calibration quality checks by reviewing calibration certificates and evaluating changes to measurement equipment status or tolerances.
  • Partner with HR on safety-related training and with facilities contacts on preventative safety maintenance requirements, helping ensure compliance and documentation are maintained.
  • Track, analyze, and report quality metrics and trends to leadership, identifying opportunities to improve process performance, reduce risk, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant quality experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality systems, or quality control within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, audits, document control, and management review processes.
  • Hands-on experience managing NCRs, CAPAs/8D, RMAs, and customer or supplier quality issues.
  • Strong ability to write, review, and maintain technical procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and comfort working within SharePoint and Teams-based workflows.

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)

  • ISO 9001 auditor certification or formal auditor training.
  • Experience in industrial automation, controls, robotics, or related technical product environments.
  • Familiarity with PPAP, PFMEA, customer compliance requests, and material/regulatory documentation requirements.
  • Experience partnering across operations, customer service, engineering, HR, and facilities in a fast-paced technical organization.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to inspect products, documentation, and processes for conformance and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to work on-site in Centennial, Colorado and occasionally travel to other MSI TEC facilities or customer locations as business needs require.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office and inspection equipment throughout the workday.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $105,000-$125,000 annually (exempt), based on experience, skills, and certifications.

Location and Schedule

This full-time, on-site position is based in Centennial, Colorado. Work hours are Monday through Friday, daytime schedule, with occasional overtime and periodic travel as business needs require.
