Job Opening: HR Manager | Centennial Colorado

As HR Manager, you will lead MSI TEC's people strategy and employee experience while building a scalable internal HR function. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, payroll coordination, compliance, performance management, and organizational development. Your Impact

As HR Manager, you will lead MSI TEC’s people strategy and employee experience while building a scalable internal HR function. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, payroll coordination, compliance, performance management, and organizational development.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, improving, and executing practical HR programs that support growth, accountability, and long-term success.

What You'll Do

Human Resources Leadership

  • Develop HR initiatives, policies, and programs that support MSI TEC’s strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and associates on HR matters.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, talent pipeline development, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with hiring managers on recruitment, succession planning, and employee integration.
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management
  • Guide employee relations, conflict resolution, and fair application of company policies.
  • Manage performance reviews, employee development, and manager coaching.

  • Manage performance reviews, employee development, and manager coaching.

Organizational Development

  • Create training, leadership development, and career progression initiatives.
  • Conduct team training and manager coaching to support leadership effectiveness, communication, and associate development.
  • Develop practical tools and resources that help managers lead associates effectively and consistently.
  • Support MSI TEC’s EOS-focused operating rhythm by helping strengthen people practices that reinforce associates who live the company’s Core Values.
  • Improve organizational efficiency, associate experience, and alignment with MSI TEC’s culture and business priorities.

Benefits, Payroll & Compliance

  • Oversee benefits programs, open enrollment, broker/vendor partnerships, and associate support.
  • Oversee payroll administration, HRIS processes, and related data accuracy.
  • Conduct compensation reviews and market benchmarking to support competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Leverage HR technology & AI, reporting, and process automation to improve efficiency, decision-making, and the associate experience.
  • Develop and monitor HR metrics related to recruiting, retention, engagement, compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour, leave, benefits, and HR recordkeeping requirements.

PEO Management & HR Infrastructure

  • Manage and optimize MSI TEC’s PEO structure to support HR, payroll, benefits, compliance, and associate support needs.
  • Partner with the PEO, brokers, vendors, and internal leaders to strengthen process ownership, service levels, reporting, payroll and benefits continuity, and compliance accountability.
  • Implement scalable HR processes, controls, systems, and compliance frameworks to support growth.

What You'll Bring

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • 3+ years of HR leadership or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Experience leading recruiting and talent acquisition programs.
  • Experience managing HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems.
  • Experience developing HR policies, programs, and organizational initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with leaders across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing or materially supporting a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) relationship, including HR service delivery, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance, reporting, and vendor accountability.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience supporting a multi-state workforce.
  • Experience within industrial, manufacturing, distribution, engineering, or technology-driven organizations.
  • HR system implementation experience.
  • Change management and organizational development expertise.
  • Experience scaling HR processes within a growing organization.

  • Competitive salary range: $105,000–$125,000 annually, exempt, based on experience, skills, and certifications.
