Class 5 SmartMotor | Integrated Servo Motor (NEMA 23 & 34)
Class 5 SmartMotor™ delivers the core benefits of SmartMotor—integrated motor, amplifier, controller, encoder, and I/O—with excellent price‑performance. Available in NEMA 23 and 34 frames and multiple connector styles, Class 5 is a proven platform for single‑ and multi‑axis machines. This highly programmable servo motor integrates all components in a compact package. It supports fieldbus communications and optional Combitronic™ technology for creating a parallel-processing network of SmartMotors. Each D-style SmartMotor™ has RS-232 communications, 7 channels of 5V TTL I/O, optional 24 VDC isolated I/O, encoder output, and more.
